Geogrid is a square or rectangular polymer mesh made of polypropylene, polyethylene and other high-molecular polymers through thermoplastic or molding. It is a common geosynthetic material. Compared with other geosynthetics, it has unique performance and efficacy. Geogrid is suitable for all kinds of embankment and roadbed reinforcement, side slope protection; large airports, parking lots, docks and cargo yards and other permanent load-bearing foundation reinforcements. It can be used as a false roof protection net in coal mines, also known as mine grids.
